The Revenue for the year 1894 amounted to

$2,129,553, or, inclusive of Land Sales and Water

£246,841

Account, to $2,278,528.

The Expenditure during the same period was

£249,069

$2,299,096, and thus exceeded the Revenue by

$20,568.

The Statement of Assets and Liabilities at

the close of the year showed an excess of Assets over

Liabilities of $1,419,938.

With regard to the above figures it should,

however, be explained that those relating to Revenue, as

also the balance of the Statement of Assets and

Liabilities
